From a selection of plots in our oldest Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards, aged in fine‑grain French‑ and American‑oak barrels. Pino Doncel Selección de parcelas is a round wine, with good structure, lively, that expresses its Mediterranean roots with special elegance, striking a balance between expressiveness and delicacy.

Production

Each variety is macerated/fermented separately at a controlled temperature. Aged in new and second‑year fine‑grain French‑ and American‑oak barrels for 24 months.

Tasting notes

Cherry red, medium depth of colour. Intense, complex aromas, with ripe fruit (blueberries, plums, blackberries, etc.) standing out, plus toasted, vanilla and cacao notes. Alcohol is well‑structured, spices, good acidity, round, mature tannins with well‑integrated oak.

Rice dishes, game, gazpacho, red meat, stews, aged cheeses, oily fish.
